Getting Started
Sign up with your email, then connect your Spotify account. Tap Start Session when music is playing around you. Droplyst will listen in short intervals, identify songs, and build a timeline. When you are done, tap End Session to export your playlist to Spotify.
How It Works
Droplyst uses Apple ShazamKit to identify songs from short audio captures. It listens at repeated intervals, matches results to Spotify, skips duplicates, and builds a chronological playlist. Audio is processed entirely on your device and is never stored.
Common Questions
A song was not identified
Song recognition depends on audio clarity. In very loud or distorted environments, some songs may not match. Droplyst works best when you can hear the music clearly yourself.
I see duplicate songs in my timeline
Droplyst automatically skips duplicates in your playlist. The timeline may show the same song detected multiple times, but only one copy is added to the exported playlist.
My Spotify playlist is empty
Make sure your Spotify account is connected in Settings. If songs were identified but not matched on Spotify, they will appear as “not found” in your session timeline.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and tap “Delete account.” This permanently removes all your session data from our servers.
